Cellulose Nanofiber

Cellulose nanofibre is a fiber that is extracted from wood and it is defibrated to the nano level. It is the advanced biomass material that has no major impact on its product and disposal. Cellulose nanofibre has matchless characteristics like lightweight, high barrier properties in regard to oxygen and other gases. Similarly, it has low thermal expansion and has high-strength aramid fiber. The cellulose nanofibre is light but strong. Nanofibre is used in automotive parts when it is mixed with resins and rubbers. One more efficient use of cellulose nanofibre is to make a transparent sheet. Additionally, it is also used to make gas barrier films which can maintain the freshness of the food for some time.
